Artist:
Tim Dinter is one of Berlin’s most interesting graphic artists. In the late nineties Dinter founded together with his fellow students the famous group MONOGATARI, which had the claim: “Pictures for Readers”. Dinters linear and realistic graphics referring to authentic places he found in Berlin, New York, Tel Aviv and Zürich. They display the beauty of every day life in a big city. His illustrations are playing with the opposing poles of photography and comic. They contain the ambience of distant urbanism combined with the fine warm stroke of Dinter’s pencils.
