Ann Besiers pictures are distinguished by their proximity to a dreamlike world, they reveal in the guise of imagination. In her work she uses clear colours, condensing narrative structures and create readable stories. Reality finds no shelter in her artwork. Characters are animals, people, as well as the linking of both, framed by ornamental landscapes. Limits will be repealed and transformed. The pictures from Ann Besier design shelters for the individual perception, which the intellectual discovery easily escape.
